Orange Ginger Pork


This easy to prepare recipe will impress your family & friends!

  • Makes:  4 servings


pork chops, bone in
salt & pepper
2 tsp. (10 mL)
vegetable oil
finely minced garlic cloves
2 tsp. (10 mL)
freshly grated ginger
1/2 cup (125 mL)
SunRype 100% Pure Orange Juice
1 cup (250 mL)
chicken broth


Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with salt & pepper. Add 1 tsp. (5 mL) vegetable oil to a non-stick frying pan. Over medium heat, cook pork chops until just a hint of pink remains inside (about 8-12 minutes). Remove pork chops & drain any fat from frying pan. In the same frying pan, add remaining 1 tsp. (5 mL) vegetable oil & cook garlic & ginger for about 2 minutes. Stir in SunRype 100% Pure Orange Juice & chicken broth. Bring to a boil, stirring often until mixture is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon (about 6 minutes). Return pork chops & any juices to frying pan & cook, turning once until pork chops are glazed (about 2 minutes). Serve with your favourite side dishes.
