Spicy Shrimp Diablo


This recipe is sure to become a family favourite!

Cook Time:  15 minutes

Makes:  4-6 servings


1-2 lbs. (454-907 g)
shrimp, shelled & deveined
1 tsp. (5 mL)
butter or margarine
1-14 oz. can (398 mL)
diced tomatoes with green chilles and lime juice
1/2 cup (125 mL)
onion, diced
1/4 cup (60 mL)
green pepper, diced
celery stalk, diced
1/2 tsp. (2.5 mL)
prepared yellow mustard
1/3 cup (80 mL)
SunRype 100% Pure Orange Juice
2 tsp. (10 mL)
worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. (5 mL)
garlic salt


Wash and dry shrimp. On medium high heat, sear shrimp in dry, non-stick pan. Add butter, onion, green pepper and celery. Cook for 5 minutes. Turn pan to low. Add tomatoes, mustard, SunRype 100% Pure Orange Juice, worcestershire sauce and garlic salt. Cook an additional 5-6 minutes. Serve over rice or pasta.
